Ontario, Canada--Adena Springs announced today that five-time G1 winner Einstein (BRZ) will stand the 2015 breeding season at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs Canada in Aurora, Ontario. A Graded stakes winner over dirt, turf and synthetic tracks, Einstein's first crop of 3-year-olds already includes stakes horses on dirt and synthetics, and winners on all three surfaces.
“Einstein is an ideal fit for Ontario," said Stronach. "He was a very versatile runner, and it makes perfect sense to stand him in Canada to take advantage of one of the premier synthetic racing programs in North America. We will continue our support of Einstein, and we already have several Ontario-bred foals by him to race here. His progeny should excel in Ontario’s rich racing program.”
Einstein will join the very lucrative Ontario Sires Program. Offering over $2-million in stakes purses and $4.5-million in restricted overnight racing, the program was enhanced in 2014 with the addition of a 40% purse bonus to registered Ontario-Sired horses competing in unrestricted races at all levels of the Woodbine overnight card. Breeders of registered Ontario-breds are also now eligible for the Premier Breeders Awards program worth $5 million annually, rewarding horses at all levels of competition.
A fee for the 12-year-old Brazilian-bred son of Spend A Buck will be announced at a later date.
