FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - We have new information about a raid at a well-known Lexington business. On Wednesday, we showed you state and federal investigators going in and out of the Midway Market on Winchester Road. They even used a battering ram to get inside an out building on the property. Now the US Attorney in Lexington has unsealed an indictment that answers a lot of questions about what was going on.
Eleven people are now charged with distributing various drugs inside Midway Market, and inside a home in Winchester. Investigators uncovered enough evidence to charge 11 people with distributing various amounts of cocaine, crack cocaine, and oxycodone. They started their case back in July of last year.
The indictment lists eleven people all working together to distribute the various drugs at properties on Winchester Road including the Midway Market, and a home on Ford Road in Winchester.
Rondale McCann, Jennifer Rawlings, Zerockia Keene, Kelly Stewart, Susan Strickland, Bassam Alfroukh, Jason Bledsoe, Misty Cloyd, Marcus Williams, and Dustin and Bruce Harrison are all charged with various drug related offenses.
Each individual indicted could face anywhere from five years up to life in prison. Penalties will depend on if any of those indicted have any prior felony drug convictions.
Five of the eleven indicted - Jennifer Rawlings, Zerockia Keene, Bassam Alfroukh, Jason Bledsoe, and Misty Cloyd - appeared in court Thursday and are now in custody.
