Gas prices crept closer to $4 a gallon Wednesday in central Kentucky.
Overnight, we found several stations around Lexington selling a gallon of regular for $3.89 a gallon, which is up about 30 cents from one week ago.
Already, drivers in Louisville are paying $3.99 a gallon.
As for how high gas prices will climb, most experts agree they'll continue to climb through the springtime, but they could peak in the low $4 per gallon range.
Last year, prices peaked in May and gradually fell the rest of the year.
