A hearing for a man convicted in a hit-and-run crash that killed a University of Kentucky student was continued Friday.
A motion hearing was set for Shannon Houser.
His attorney filed a motion, asking the city of Lexington to return Houser's truck, which was involved in the wreck that killed Connie Blount in 2008.
The hearing will now take place November 18. Houser was not in court Friday.
A jury found Houser guilty of leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with physical evidence in the case.
He was sentenced to five years in prison but was recently let out early for good behavior.
Prosecutors say they will oppose Houser's request to get his truck back.
