Homeless shelters in Lexington filled up quickly late Sunday into early Monday.
WKYT sent a crew to the Salvation Army on West Main Street, where some folks were sleeping in the lobby to stay warm.
At the hope center, men were sleeping the hallways of the shelter.
In Lexington, the Catholic Action Center and the Community Inn on Winchester Road are also helping the homeless.
They ask for donations, like extra blankets and clothing, all year long.
