Investigators have description of man wanted in arson spree

Close to 50 people showed up for a neighborhood meeting Monday night to talk about a rash of suspicious fires in the Hill Rise Drive area. All of them were very concerned about the fires, and very appreciative of all the officers and firefighters trying to find the person responsible.

Monday investigators gave 27 NEWSFIRST a brand new description of that person, the one they think has been starting all of the fires. They are looking for a black male, between 30 and 40-years-old, around 6'0" with a medium build, wearing white shoes.

Investigators say that person has started the fires since early December. They've battled everything from dumpster fires to car fires and most recently, a duplex fire. Neighbors are begging friends to call police if they see anything that looks suspicious.

"If THEY see anything, report it," said Aaron Davis. "Don't be afraid to call the cops and also keep the doors locked."
