The Lexington Visitors Center, located inside the Victorian Square Shops, is the first business in Lexington to take part in Google's new Business Photos Program. The new program is designed to promote foot traffic by providing potential customers with a better sense of a business' interior using panoramic views. When a potential customer searches for a business on Google, the panoramic images will populate along with traditional search results.
Google has contracted local photographers to shoot businesses across the United States and around the World. The Lexington Visitors Center was shot earlier this week, making Lexington's visitor center one of the first in the United States to participate.
Jim Browder, President Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau stated, "We are thrilled to find yet another way to showcase our new visitor center! This 360 tour of our center gives people a glimpse of all there is to see and do in Lexington."
