Lexington Police receive tips in Diva's murder after suspect's pictures released

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police tell us they've received tips after releasing pictures of five men, suspected of being involved in last week's murder at Diva's Gentlemen's club.

They're asking folks in Ohio for more information on the men pictured, as well. They say the men may have connections to that area.

It's been a week since a man was shot and killed outside a Lexington strip club following a fight, and police need your help tracking down five men they're labeling persons of interest.

Four of the men were wearing caps that night. One appears to have tattoos on his neck. The images are from cameras at Diva's Gentlemen's Club on Russell Cave Road in Lexington.

On November 13th around 2:40 in the morning, police say Curtis Simmons, 33, was shot multiple times to the chest and upper torso. It happened after an exchange of words inside the club later lead to a fight where the shots were fired outside.

The suspects have not been identified.

After Simmons was shot, a man who knew him reportedly returned fire at the shooter. Police have not identified him, saying he is not being charged at this point.

If you have any information you are asked to call police or Bluegrass Crimestoppers.
