LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The city of Lexington is removing over 40 trees from the median of Man O'War blvd. near Hamburg, and from alongside Richmond road on the east side of town.
The city says they're removing the trees because they're either dead or dying.
Officials say the trees are infected by the emerald ash borer, an exotic Asian beetle that can be devastating to ash trees.
All of the trees will be replaced this fall.
