Lois Howard Gray, one of Kentucky's first and most successful female entrepreneurs and the mother of Lexington Mayor Jim Gray, died at the age of 91. She was the co-founder with her late husband of one of the country's highly regarded construction companies, Gray Construction. Jim Gray was running the company when he became mayor.
Her obituary says that Gray died from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
Funeral arrangements, which are being handled by Kerr Brothers, are pending at this time.
