Having just returned home from the doctor's office, Eddie Davis says he was approached by a woman police have identified as 21-year-old Latasha Lynch, at his front door. And just as quickly as she came up to him.

"These two guys pushed her out of the way and come in and they started to say, where's your money, where's your money. I said I don't have no money," said Davis.

Even after giving them his rent money, "he hit me with a baseball bat across my back. Hit me in my face, my head, my legs and stuff. And they said we're gonna kill you if you don't tell us where the money is."

He says the men then tore his home apart. "My house is a disaster, where they ransacked, tore everything to ruins. Busted up my tables, threw down all my medicine, my seizure medication I'm on."

All the while, thankful his 14-year-old son, who was supposed to be home, wasn't. "Thank God, he wasn't there. Cause would have probably got killed."

Badly beaten and stripped naked by his assailants, Davis came out into the yard to get any kind of description of the car and the people that beat him to give to police.

Davis says one man was wearing a black jacket and toboggan, the other man a blue coat, and they got away in a tan car. "I just knew I was gonna be killed, I just thought I was gonna be killed."

Thankful he's still alive, he just hopes whoever did this to him, gets caught.

Police say Latasha Lynch is wanted for escape from home incarceration as well as for questioning in the home invasion.
They say the group that attacked Davis may have been in a small tan car that was seen nearby prior to the home invasion.
