A Lexington man has admitted to causing a deadly crash by driving the wrong way on New Circle Road. Police say Adam Leake was driving under the influence when he hit 40-year-old Connie Layne's car head-on back in January of 2010.
Monday Leake pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter. He had been charged with murder after the crash. The judge sentenced Leake to 22 years. He got 12 years for manslaughter, 8 years for wanton endangerment and two years for assault. He will get credit for the two years he's already served.
