On Friday, Mayor Gray sent a letter to the chair of the museum's board, asking him to explain what corrective actions are being taken to fix some ongoing problems.
A museum spokesperson released a statement Friday night saying the full board had not had a chance to look over the mayor's letter, but that they want to work with the city to alleviate any concerns.
