A Lexington pizza delivery driver says he obeyed two armed robbers' demands early Tuesday so he wouldn't get shot.

Paul Pickett pulled up to the intersection of University and Crescent Avenues, and his night of delivering pizzas quickly changed.

He became the victim of an armed robbery when two men held him up at gun point.

"I'm kind of mind-boggled," Pickett says, "I don't know what to think right now."

The Mad Mushroom employee was delivering pizzas in Lexington near UK's campus. Picket says two men, both armed with guns, approached his car, knocked on the windows and forced him to get out.

"They put me at gunpoint and laid me down," Pickett says, "And they put my head down to the ground, held me there, and told me if I looked up they were going to shoot me."

The two robbers demanded cash and other items from Pickett.

"Basically, they just robbed me for all my money," he says.

Pickett says the men ran off, and he got up and made a call to police.

He had some markings and some dirt on his face from the incident, but other than that, he was okay and was not injured.

Police have not made any arrests. They are looking for two suspects.
