LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police say it was debris from the roadway that hit the windshield of a car on I-75 Thursday morning.
Police were dispatched to the interstate just before 10am at the 111 mile marker after a driver called in that his car had been shot at.
Police combed the area and determined that it was debris from the roadway that had flew up and hit the upper left hand side of the windshield, causing a bullet sized hole.
The drive say he was alone in the vehicle at the time the windshield was hit. No one was injured.
