Police think two teens could be responsible for three robberies that resulted in three shootings..
The latest crime happened Tuesday morning on McCullough Drive.
"I've lived here for a year and I've never seen anything like this," explains William Scott, a Winburn resident. "This is out of control, you can't even walk down the street anymore without being afraid someone is going to rob you."
Police say they received a call of a shooting around 9AM. They say the victim was standing in the breezeway of his apartment building when two young men approached him. They say the two men were armed with a handgun. They shot the victim once in the leg after robbing him.
"It's a pretty remote time of day for the apartment complex. They were seen running back toward the intersection of Winburn and McCullough," said Sergeant Scott May.
On Monday, a man was robbed in the parking lot of his apartment complex on Hollow Creek. The suspects shot the man in the leg.
On Sunday, police were called to investigate a different robbery on Hollow Creek. The victim in that case was also shot.
Lexington Police think two young boys are responsible for all of the crimes. They think the boys are somewhere between the ages of 14 and 17. Police say they are checking school records to see who didn't show up.
