It took more than six hours to clean up the mess left behind by a suspected DUI accident near downtown Lexington.
Police say an intoxicated driver lost control on North Broadway, taking out a power pole near Fourth Street, around 11 p.m. Sunday.
Officers later found the driver at the Rally's at Georgetown Street and Newtown Pike.
Kentucky Utilities workers were called to replace the pole, across from Transylvania University.
It was finally replaced by 6:30 a.m. Monday.
According to KU's website, more than 250 customers lost power. It has since been restored.
