LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Lexington restaurant shut down by the health department is now back open.
The Fayette County Health Department tell us Riptide on Old Richmond Road passed its re-inspection Thursday morning with a score of 95%.
The health department shut down the restaurant Saturday. Health inspectors say the restaurant did not have hot water and they found problems with sewage and unclean equipment.
The health department tells us they will follow up with another inspection in 30 days.
The owners of Riptide tell us they are back open as of Thursday afternoon.
