Road rage incident leads to two crashes

One person suffered injuries in a road rage incident along a busy Lexington road.

The victim tells 27 NEWSFIRST it started at Nicholasville Road and Man o'War, when a driver began revving his engine. As the victim got out of the car, he tells us the driver turned his wheel and slammed on the gas, driving right into the side of his car and his leg.

"When he hit me, my door was open, and I had no choice but to drive down Nicholasville Road with it open. I didn't have his license plate number so I had to get it."

As the victim followed the suspect to try and get a license plate number, we're told the suspect sped up to get away. The chase ended in the Fayette Mall parking lot, when the driver slammed into another car.

Dylan Shifflett is charged with wanton endangerment and drug paraphernalia. Police say they found drug paraphernalia in the car as well as an empty container however they say the driver was not intoxicated
