Runaway child found safe

There have been new developments in the search for a ten-year-old boy, who ran away during a doctor's appointment.

Early Friday morning, Lexington Police found the child on Danielle Lane, near Fortune Drive, which is about five miles from Merrick Drive, where the child disappeared Thursday.

Lexington Police say Keevin Taylor became upset during a treatment session at his doctor's office and ran away around 6:30 p.m.

Around 1 a.m., police got a call from a woman on Danielle Lane, who told police she took Keevin home after finding him at a party.

Police say Keevin hitched a ride with some other juveniles and ended up at a party.

Keevin was checked out by paramedics and is okay, according to officers.

Police say no charges will be filed.
