Kentuckians woke up Thursday to a number of fallen trees.
As soon as the winds and rain came through overnight, they blew down a large tree on Highway 169, near U.S. 68, in Jessamine County.
The tree is now out of the road, but crews may return later Thursday fix the telephone lines damaged in the storm.
The storms also knocked out power to thousands overnight.
It was restored by early Thursday to people living around Brynell Avenue, off Bryan Station Road, in Lexington.
Power outages were also reported around Winn Avenue and Kentucky 15 in Winchester.
