Police were called to a report of a shooting on Old Todds Road, just off Richmond road today.

Witnesses say they heard multiple gunshots and had to take cover in a nearby car wash.

At this time, police don't believe anyone was hit. However, they can't be sure because the shooter and his alleged targets left the scene before police arrived.

Witnesses who had just pulled up to get their car washed, say they saw a man run past their vehicle.

They say that man then started shooting at people inside a car that had just pulled into the parking lot of Sami's car wash.

"And all the sudden, we just hear gun fire, and everybody started screaming in the car, got out, and made sure one of the guys didn't get shot. And when I looked the guy was already gone, so he must of had a car waiting on him up front," said Daisy Blanton.

Police began a ground and air search looking for the shooter and the victim's vehicle.

Police say they're looking for a younger black male in his late teens-early 20s with dreadlocks, wearing a white t-shirt and shorts. The vehicle they're looking for is an older model Chevy Caprice, light on top and dark on the sides, possibly with two rear flat tires.
