Today could be the first of many cases as Lexington Police and UK Police work to find people who they say went too far celebrating UK's national championship.
19-year-old UK freshman Daebrion Hopwood was in court today for his preliminary hearing. Police say Hopwood put lighter fluid on a sweatshirt, lit it, and threw it into an overturned car.
Lexington Police say they used a tip and social media to find Hopwood. They've been using facebook and the site IDthisperson.com to locate people who they say turned over vehicles and set fires during the celebrations the weekend of the Final Four.
During those celebrations firefighters worked more than 120 fires. Investigators say they have evidence against many of the people who started those fires, but they need help from the public to identify them.
Hopwood's attorney had his case waived on to the Grand Jury who will decide if there is enough evidence against him to pursue this case.
