Live Music featuring Chris Carpenter & Conch Republic

**Chris Carpenter is a Winchester native who at the age 26, has already had songs featured on "Men of a Certain Age", "The Young and the Restless", "Halo Hollywood" and a Kraft Foods commercial. Chris has 3 full-length albums available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon and CD Baby-Next Right Thing, If I Run and Falling Out of the Atmosphere. He has released music videos for his songs "One and Only", "Paralyzed" and "Lover Like That" which can be viewed at VH1.com, MTVMusic.com and CMT.com.

**Conch Republic has been voted #1 "Bad Boy of the Trop Rock" for 2012, according to Beachfront Radio in addition to being the recipient of the 2010 Rising Star Award for Top Beach Band by GigMasters.com. The show is high energy and focuses on crowd participation. Since 2006, this Lexington "band of pirates" has been bringing the beach to fans across the mid-west and southern states – including opening up for the Beach Boys!

We hope this is going to be a great success and an event everyone looks forward to for years to come."

1. Bluegrass Higher Education Consortium
2. Conservation Corridors Initiative including green space planning and connectivity of trails systems
3. Bluegrass Greenvision, sustainable green planning in 18 counties
4. Young Professionals Diversity Council, developing an environment to sustain creative talent
5. Equine Agricultural Initiative, promoting and protecting our equine/agriculture industries and our precious bluegrass soils
