Teenager trying to sell iPod over the Internet robbed in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police arrested two people they say robbed a teenager, who was trying to sell an iPod online.

Police charged 18-year-old Dominique Duff and 20-year-old Tia Leavell with robbery.

Police say the 16-year-old victim met someone online, who was interested in buying his iPod.

The victim arranged to meet the person outside a restaurant on North Broadway Friday night.

However, when the victim showed up, police say Duff was there. They say Duff pulled out a gun and stole the iPod.

Police say Leavell was an accomplice.

Police arrested Duff and Leavell a short time later.
