Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital will celebrate UK’s first home football game with the 40th annual Kentucky BASH on September 6, at Donamire Farm.
The Kentucky BASH has been a staple in the Lexington community for 40 years, having raised over three million dollars to Cardinal Hill Hospital.
This popular event has a time-honored tradition of bringing together many Kentucky passions worthy of celebration. For UK football lovers, there will be a special appearance by Coach Mark Stoops and his wife Chantel. Back again this year is the Jim Beam Quarterback Challenge where event goers have the chance to throw the pig skin against former UK Football greats.
The evening, emceed by WKYT’s Jennifer Palumbo and Chris Bailey, with special guest KSR’s Matt Jones, will include both live and silent specialty auctions.
Proceeds from the Kentucky BASH will be used to fund a Pediatric Lokomat – a vital component to teaching Cardinal Hill’s youngest and smallest patients mobility skills and/or how to walk again following a traumatic injury or disabling condition.
The Kentucky BASH is sponsored in part by a generous donation from Hilliard Lyons. The Jim Beam Quarterback Challenge is sponsored by Beam Global.
The Kentucky BASH begins at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public, but advance reservations are suggested. Tables of eight (reserved seating) are available for $1,200 and individual tickets (open seating) are available for $125, after August 31, tickets are $150.
