LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - People interested in becoming bone marrow donors will have a chance to be listed on the national bone marrow registry to become a possible donor during an event Friday at the University of Kentucky.
The drive is being held by UK hematology and oncology pharmacy residents and College of Pharmacy students from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT at the Biomedical/Biological Sciences Research Building second-floor atrium. The building is at the corner of South Limestone and Virginia Avenue in Lexington.
The university says all that's required is a brief medical history and a cheek swab.
