LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - The University of Kentucky is naming a building after former university president David P. Roselle on Tuesday.
A formal ceremony is being held at 11 a.m. EDT in front of the residence hall now known as North Hall. The building will be known as David P. Roselle Hall.
The UK board of trustees approved the name change last October.
Roselle will speak at the ceremony, and current President Eli Capilouto is also attending.
Roselle was the university's ninth president and served from July 1987 to December 1989. He left to become president of the University of Delaware and is now director of Winterthur (WIN'-ter-toor) Museum, Garden and Library in Delaware.
