Lexington fire crews had to cut a woman out of her vehicle Tuesday afternoon. They say the victim, who is in her 50s, lost control in a curve on Greendale Road, just past Mulundy Way.
The driver told fire crews she swerved to avoid hitting a dog in the road. She did manage to miss the animal, but flipped her vehicle.
She was taken to hospital to be checked out. Fire crews say the woman did not have life threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
