A woman ended up being shot after, police say, a fight got out of hand.
Lexington Police were called to a home on The Kings Court, near Hartland Parkway, around 5:00 Friday evening.
Police tell us a man and a woman got into an argument. The man fired shots, hitting the woman in the foot.
She went to UK hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police later arrested the suspect on Trent Boulevard. He is charged with assault.
