Big Sandy Kickoff to Cure Diabetes

Posted: 09/24/2014 - The Third Annual Big Sandy Walk to Cure Diabetes is a public celebration of those living with type one and the progress being made to find a cure for type one diabetes. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, in partnership with Walters Toyota, invite anyone touched by the disease to attend. The event will offer free kid’s activities, live music and lunch immediately following the walk.

Hospice of the Bluegrass Offers Free Grief Camp for Children

Posted: 07/14/2014 - (Lexington, KY)— Camp HOPE will be a one-day retreat for children, ages 6 to 12, who have experienced the death of a loved one within the past two years. Caregivers of the children are also invited to attend. Camp HOPE will be held September 13, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the Hospice of the Bluegrass Center for Grief and Education, 2409 Greatstone Point, Lexington, Ky.
