MILO, Ky. (WYMT) - A woman was hospitalized after a hit-and-run Tuesday in Martin County.
Claudia Johnson was walking on Spence Branch Road in the Milo community around five p.m. when a car hit her and drove away, Sheriff Garmon Preece said.
Johnson was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center in nearby Lawrence County.
"She was hit in the back of the head by the mirror on the car and drug several feet," Preece said. "(She had) injuries to the back of her head. She was bleeding some and it's possible she had a concussion."
The vehicle that hit Johnson could be a white Ford station wagon, the sheriff said.
We do not know Johnson's age or condition.
