MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A trial date is set for a former Martin County Deputy Clerk accused of stealing money from the clerk's office.
Tammy Hairston will go to trial September 9.
She is charged with abuse of public trust and possession of a forged instrument.
A grand jury indicted Hairston and her sister Tanya Mills after an investigation found nearly $20,000 missing from the clerk's office.
They are the daughters of Martin County Clerk Carol Sue Mills.
