Updated: 8:51 AM Part of Route 40 in Martin County was closed on Tuesday to begin repairing a break in the road. The traffic on Route 40 was replaced by road crews and heavy machinery. Superintendent Jerry Todd explains the project, "We are drilling holes with a rotary drill so we can put railroad steel in to hold the road, then we will crib it with cribbing and then we will backfill it and try to build the road back."
