An employees of the Gateway District Health Department confirms that Robert Workman Junior was in charge of the technology in Rowan, Bath, Menifee, and Morgan counties since 2007.

Robert Workman Junior was indicted in Rowan County on several sex charges involving a minor. Investigators say some of the crimes happened on the property of the Rowan County Health Center.

The alleged crimes happened over the course of several years beginning in 2006. Workman is accused of having sex with someone in his household under the age of 16. Two years after, police say Workman committed sodomy with the same person. In 2011, police say he broke into the Rowan County Health Department to have sex with the minor. Police also believe that Workman destroyed evidence and even turned off video recording devices to engage in sexual activity with this juvenile.

"My grandson was a good boy. He'd never do nothing like that," says Ruth Workman, grandmother of the accused.

Workman's Grandmother believes that the unrelated household member of Workman made up the allegations against him.

"He is not guilty and I still love him," Workman adds.
Robert Workman also faces an eavesdropping charge after police say that he activated the audio on a security camera in the office of another health department employee.

Kentucky State Police continue to investigate the case and say that more charges are pending. At this point, police do not believe there are anymore victims.
