More Kentucky cities delaying 4th of July festivities

Several Kentucky cities have postponed their 4th of July events due to threatening weather.

The city of Frankfort has postponed its fireworks show. It has been rescheduled for Friday night.

Bourbon County officials have postponed its fireworks display. The county has rescheduled it for Friday night.

Wayne County officials have postponed its fireworks display. It has been rescheduled for Saturday night.

The city of Versailles has postponed its fireworks display. The fireworks show has been rescheduled for Sunday.

Anderson County officials have canceled their Fourth of July parade scheduled for this evening in Lawrenceburg. The county's firework display has been postponed until Friday night at dusk.

The Danville/Boyle County fireworks show has been postponed from tonight. The fireworks display will now be at 9:30 p.m. Saturday night.

The City of Wilmore Festival of the Fourth parade and festival is canceled today due to threat of serious weather conditions.
On the city website, officials offered their "deepest apologies." The event has not been re-scheduled.

All 4th of July activities for Campbellsville-Taylor County have been re-scheduled due to the weather. The fireworks are now set for Friday night, July 12 and the Parade for Saturday July 13.

Officials have canceled fireworks events at Fort Knox. Officials say the Fort Knox Celebrates Freedom event has been canceled and replaced by a smaller indoor event at the Sadowski Center.

Corbin, Williamsburg and Morehead all have moved their fireworks shows to Saturday.

Lexington officials may postpone the fireworks show if weather is threatening.
