Kentucky State Police say a Rowan County woman was running an illegal pawn shop out of her home.
Officers made the discovery at 32-year old Marcia Wallace's home in the Clearfield community on Friday.
Police say she was accepting food stamps to pay off pawn debt. They say she also accepted items, purchased with food stamps, to pay off pawn debt.
She is charged with fraudulent use of an ID card or electronic code for benefits.
Police say Wallace had a food stamp card that did not belong to her at the time of her arrest.
