Morehead State University’s Board of Regents approved a midyear pay supplement of $750 for each full-time faculty and staff member employed prior to July 1.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank each member of the faculty and staff for their hard work and commitment to Morehead State University,” said President Wayne D. Andrews. “Their efforts, both individually and collectively, have enabled the University to move forward during a time of severe economic challenges. In identifying and implementing multiple cost-saving initiatives, the faculty and staff have enabled the University to operate more effectively and efficiently. As a result, we have been able to generate an institutional fund balance to support a one-time $750 mid-year pay supplement.
I am hopeful that it will assist many families with end-of-the-year expenditures and rising utility costs during the upcoming winter months. All midyear pay supplement checks will be printed and distributed through departmental supervisors during the week of December 13-17.”
The amount will be subject to tax and retirement deductions and its for full-time faculty and staff member employed prior to July 1, in an authorized position funded in the University’s unrestricted operating budget and serving in a non-probationary performance status.
