A car slammed into Fire Station Number Two, located on Union Mill Road in Jessamine County, Friday afternoon.
A woman, identified as 58-year-old Bonnie Pierce of Jessamine County, was driving a silver colored Chevy Malibu when she crashed through a total of three walls, and into a parked fire truck.
"I seen them go through houses and businesses, but I never thought I would open the door and see a car in there," said Fire Chief Michael Rupard.
The chief says Pierce was essentially trapped with parts of her car between the station's office, the main lobby and the garage.
"Basically, I was asking if she was hurting, and she said a few aches and pains, but otherwise she was okay."
As for the building itself, Rupard says the station should be functioning again by Friday night.
No firefighters were inside the station at the time of the crash.
