Nicholasville Firefighters are investigating a fire that damaged Jessamine County's PVA office early Friday morning.
The fire broke out across the street from courthouse on Main Street around 6 a.m.
Firefighters say the fire started on the second floor. It sustained heavy damage. There is some water damage on the first floor.
Most records weren't destroyed, according to firefighters.
Main Street is blocked as well as Walnut, Maple, York and a number of downtown streets.
There is no word when they may reopen.
