JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Bikers are encouraged to come out and take part in a memorial ride to honor a railroad company founder.
A memorial ride in honor of R.J.Corman is scheduled for Wednesday night at seven in Nicholasville. Corman died on August 23rd after a decade long battle with cancer.
According to a post on the WKYT Facebook page, those taking part in the ride are asked to wear red shirts and meet no later than 6:45 at "Momma's Last Chance Saloon" located at 2213 Lexington Road in Nicholasville. Riders will leave at 7:00 p.m. and be escorted down U.S. 27 past Corman's property.
Donations will also be made to the cancer society as part of the events.
The organizers hope to make this an annual event.
