WILMORE, Ky. (WKYT) - A memorial service is set to take place for a college student who died suddenly .

24-year-old Jeff McMillan died on Saturday. Officials at Asbury University say McMillan collapsed while playing with friends at an intramural field. According to officials, McMillan experienced difficulty breathing. He was taken to Saint Joseph Jessamine, in Nicholasville, where he died.

A remembrance service in McMillan's honor is scheduled for ten Monday morning at Asbury University, where McMillan was a student.

His official cause of death has not been released.
