It took hours for workers to clean up the mess left behind by a crash early Tuesday.
The driver of a pickup truck slammed into a power pole on Chrisman Mill Road in Jessamine County.
The pole started leaning at a 45-degree angle.
Workers with Blue Grass Energy were called out to fix the outage.
Sheriff's deputies say the Nicholasville water treatment plant lost power, as well.
By 5:30 a.m., only one customer was still without power.
The driver of the pickup truck went to the hospital and is expected to recover.
More road signs were ordered for Chrisman Mill Road following a crash that killed a woman in May 2010.
