Jessamine County Sheriff's deputies are still searching for the people involved in that shooting on Thursday afternoon.
Deputies were called out to Chinkapin Drive, in the Forest Hills neighborhood off Harrodsburg Road, for a call of shots fired. A man living on Chinkapin told deputies an extended family member starting shooting at him and his passenger as they pulled up to Harrodsburg Road. The man was not seriously injured. Deputies say no bullets hit him, but he was cut by the shattering glass from his car window.
"This is kind of an ongoing, developing situation even as we speak. The apparent shooters in this case are at large. I know Lexington PD is actually looking for them right now," said Deputy Larry Oliver.
Lexington Police did find the pick-up truck Jessamine County deputies believe the suspects were driving. However, the suspects were nowhere to be found.
Police say the suspects are in-laws of the victim. He says they're from Georgia.
"We have a pretty good idea of who we are looking for. Again, it kinda stems from the domestic dispute from yesterday," explained Deputy Oliver.
Oliver belives the family feud started in the parking lot of Hobby Lobby in Nicholasville.
