A robbery suspect pleaded not guilty in a central Kentucky courtroom.
Nicholasville Police say James Colton Mahan snatched a woman's purse from Kroger on Main Street Sunday. He was later found hiding in a storage shed and arrested.
Police say Mahan also snatched purses from elderly women in broad daylight twice in three days last week at the Nicholasville Walmart. In one instance, a woman suffered a broken hip and was hospitalized.
