The Holly Day Market comes to the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, presented by the Junior League of Lexington.
This is the perfect event for families and individuals to shop for the 2012 holiday season in one location. This year’s theme, “A Palm Beach Christmas”, invites shoppers to take a vacation from the crazy Christmas rush and fill all their holiday shopping needs without the hassle. With more than 70 local, regional, and national merchants, offering everything from clothes, books, toys, holiday decorations, jewelry, food items, and more… shoppers are sure to find exactly what they’re looking for in one place. Plus, this will be the first place in Lexington for children to see Santa and Mrs. Claus. Pictures can be taken with them on Saturday and Sunday afternoon (2pm-4pm). Children will also have special craft and activity opportunities throughout the Holly Day Market (please note that childcare is not provided).
The Alltech Area at the Kentucky Horse Park is just 15 minutes outside of downtown Lexington with ample space for all booths and visitors to shop comfortably. All shoppers receive a holiday shopping guide for the event, mapping out where each vendor is located in the arena. Food and drinks are available for purchase during the event in the “Fresh Market Café” (in the Alltech arena) and more than 800 parking spaces will be provided for visitors. The 2012 Holly Day Market is sponsored by Commonwealth Eye Surgery.
The Holly Day Market preview party is on November 8th (7pm-10pm) in the Alltech Arena, tickets can be purchased at the hollydaymarket.com website or by calling 859-252-8014. The Holly Day Market event is November 9th (9am-5pm), 10th (9am-5pm), and 11th (11am-5pm). Tickets are $8.00 for adults (good for one day only), and can be purchased online at hollydaymarket.com, at local area merchants, or at the door. This event raises funds to further the Junior League’s mission of promoting the quality of life in the bluegrass.
