NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Two women, injured in a deadly crash, are being released from the hospital. The crash happened June 29 on U.S. 27 in Nicholasville. Police say a station wagon carrying a family of five hit a van. The crash killed the family in the station wagon. Visitation for Steven and Shaila Hibbard and their three children was held Monday.
The van belonged to Refuge For Women. It was returning from a worship service at the time of the crash. One of the women in the van, Angelia Poe, was killed. Four others were hurt. Now, only one remains in the hospital. In a post on their Facebook page, Refuge For Women asked people to keep the women in their prayers saying quote "there is still lots of healing, doctor's appointments and therapy ahead of them."
