September 25, 2012- The American Diabetes Association (ADA) in partnership with our Presenting Sponsor, Central Baptist Hospital, is proud to present the American Diabetes Association’s 20th Anniversary Cruise Gala. The Gala will take place on Friday, November 2nd beginning at 7pm at the RJ Corman Airplane Hangar in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The night will include food with Caribbean flavors, complimentary cocktails, a live and silent auction and entertainment by Caught Red Handed.
The Gala is a signature fundraising event and helps support the American Diabetes Association’s mission – to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all those affected by diabetes. This year’s event will be held during American Diabetes Month as we draw awareness to a disease that affects 400,000 Kentuckians and that number is growing every day.
“For the 20th straight year, we are asking the community to come together and make a difference in diabetes.” says Gala Chair, Mrs. Ann H.M. Thomas. She adds, “With so many Kentuckians affected by this disease, critical dollars raised at this event can go a long way in funding research, education and advocacy efforts right here at home in our community.”
