Bourbon County Judge Executive Donnie Foley says they are postponing the county's public fireworks display.
They had planned to have a fireworks show on July 4th at the fairgrounds. They are now postponing due to dry conditions.
Judge Executive Foley says that a make-up date will be determined once the area gets some rain.
The county also decided Monday afternoon to ban personal fireworks as well.
