Bourbon County, Ky (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police arrested a Bourbon County man Monday morning for attempted murder.

Troopers say a woman was shot in the hand Sunday night at a home on Shawhan Road in Bourbon County. Through the course of the investigation, troopers say it was determined that Danny Hutson had shot the female in the hand and fled the area.

State Police say Hutson later turned himself in and was arrested for attempted murder. Troopers say the female victim was taken to the hospital by private vehicle for a minor wound to her right index finger.
